Aeroflow offers a service unlike any other DME company in the area. We offer unattended in home sleep testing. Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) is recognized as a serious health problem that impacts approximately 43 million US adults.  More than 80% remain undiagnosed.1 Now, the detection of this chronically debilitating condition has been made easier,  no longer does the patient have to be hindered with staying the night in a sleep lab in order to diagnose your garden variety sleep apnea! They will no longer have to incur the costs or inconvenience of going  into the lab. The cost of the in home sleep study is approximately 1/7^th the cost of going into a sleep lab. The in home study allows the patient to sleep in there natural environment providing a more comfortable test and more accurate results. The study can be completed over one to three days. If the patient comes back as having sleep apnea( meaning a clinically significant apnea hypopnea index of five or greater per medicare guidelines) The patient can be auto-titrated in the home with an auto-titrating cpap which will be used for a period of seven to fourteen days in order to establish the proper pressure. We use local board certified sleep physicians to interpret all of our results and make the recommendations to the patients primary care providers. If the patients primary care providers do not want to manage the sleep apnea themselves our physicians can handle the patients  with in office visits or via tele-medicine. At Aeroflow healthcare we provide  fully accredited and licensed respiratory therapists to assist in the setup and management of the patients clinical problems. It falls on us as DME provider to make sure that the patients remain compliant, comfortable and are receiving the utmost care and service.

HICKORY, NC … (September 12, 2010) On September 17, 2010, Friday, from 11:00am to 4pm, Aeroflow Healthcare will host an open house at its location at 920 Tate Boulevard Southeast in Hickory.

“We are excited to be hosting this event,” said Julie Lewis, Chief Operating Officer of Aeroflow Healthcare. Representatives from departments within the organization will be on hand for the grand opening event.

“We are always exploring new opportunities and Hickory has been especially accommodating and supportive of our efforts to remain one of its leading durable medical equipment providers.” said Josh Hill, Aeroflow Healthcare’s Corporate Trainer. “Our supporters are part of our extended family so I’m really looking forward to showing them our appreciation with an open house.”

Aeroflow Healthcare will provide heavy hors d’oeuvres for business associates and invited guests. Festivities are set to begin at 11:00am.

Diagnostic Testing and Durable Medical Equipment Company to Host Grand Opening in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, NC … (August 2, 2010) On August 20, 2010 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, Aeroflow Healthcare will celebrate the grand opening of its new location at 3165 Sweeten Creek Road in Asheville.

“We are excited to be hosting this event,” said Julie Lewis, Chief Operating Officer of Aeroflow Healthcare. Don J. Hite, CEO, and Casey Hite, Vice President, decided to move the Corporate Office to its new location this summer.  “This is very exciting.  It seems just a few years ago we were a five-person operation.  We now have over 75 employees, 7 locations throughout North Carolina and Tennessee and are proud to have our Corporate Office in Asheville. Our Mission remains the same today as it was when we started the company back in 2001. Our Mission is to improve each of our patient’s quality of life through compassion, excellent service, and exceptional products.
