In testing, we offer different devices to suit your particular needs and comfort, and Sleep Apnea testing can be completed in the privacy of your own home! Aeroflow Healthcare provides Sleep Apnea tests using well known respiratory therapy names such as Watermark Medical, ResMed and Respironics.
Each Sleep Apnea testing session will measure the oxygen saturation of the patient's blood while he sleeps and also track the breathing patterns of the patient, including any snoring, gasping or pauses in breathing, known as apneas, to see what is causing the breathing problems in the first place. We will discuss the options we offer with our patients and make sure they are comfortable with taking the Sleep Apnea test on their own before we ship the test out to be taken over night. Once the device is sent back to us, we will download the results into a format that is sent to one of our board certified sleep physicians to interpret. Then, the patient's information is returned to the doctor who ordered the test. At that point, the patient is given options for therapy.
